We recently teamed up with The Framework Events in San Francisco. They came to Bestowe asking for Welcome Gift boxes for weddings happening in the Bay Area. This was a great exercise for me in localized gifting. In fact, I started Bestowe with the intention of doing localized boxes eventually, so I'm really excited that we TFE gave me the kick start I needed to make it happen.
Not only does every city have their own array of wonderful small-batch business just waiting to be discovered, but each city has a history which can weave together a unique storyline. Pair that with a couple's own story, and you've got the three elements of a perfect wedding gift.
Today I'd like to share the event with you, and the boxes that came out of it. If you want to hear more about making the perfect Wedding Welcome Gift box, sign up for our newsletter. We'll be doing a whole series on how to design and make the perfect boxes with giveaways on how to make your own wedding unique and organized. If you'd like to purchase our Wedding Welcome boxes, or want to talk about customizing your own for your event, reach out to us here.
The Framework Event Launch
The Framework Events put together a wonderful night to officially launch their event planning business in San Francisco. They held their event at the old firehouse, now turned rotating retail space, Batch.
These are just a few of the gifts we designed for Welcome Boxes. It was such a treat to not only find local artisans, but to partner with Batch to include a lovely candle from their shop.
One thing you need to consider in any welcome box is a delicious treat to keep your guests satiated during their stay. The treats can be local and even custom made like the fortune cookies that TFE got to give away as favors. What a great touch!
Matthew of The Hanged Man Co. was busy all night reading Tarot cards for all the guests.
I could not get enough of the passed apps from Fogcutter SF. I swear, I think I got one app from each tray passed. They pretty much new to come directly to me for drinks and food by the end of the night.
Zim Balloons did an amazing job of installing the most spectacular lit installation.
